Have a proper Diet

The growing trend for vegetarian food got lots of reasons for the people who opt for it. Previously people are veggie lovers for their ethical practice. But nowadays the health conscious is growing high which makes people to opt for vegetarian foods. Meat based diets carry bacteria and the potential diseases associated with them more often than vegetables or pulses or fruits. Plant-based diets containing whole grains, vegetables, fruits and nuts are rich in fibre and vitamins. Hence these foods have less saturated fats and cholesterol. Such diets also lower the risk of hyper tension and thereby preventing from heart disease.

Meats are low in fiber and hence they increase the cholesterol level in the body. Plant foods are high in proportions of polyunsaturated fatty acids which helps in maintaining the integrity of brain function during ageing process. These foods are excellent diet for weight loss. Vegetarian diets may help in long-term weight control and has less caloric value. However, the more limiting of diets is more difficult to get all the nutrients required by your body. So, you need to plan your diet in such a way that you get basic nutrients for the day.

Most restricted diet can perhaps cause nutritional concerns and compromise with iron, zinc and vitamins. So diets should be planned accordingly. It need not be boring and the same menu for everyday. Whip up a variety of recipes from vegetables and feast on them. Increasing the intake of fruits will help benefits of iron and vitamins. Ensure you select the varieties that includes greens rich and citrus fruits rich in iron and iron absorption, soy rich in proteins and dairy products rich in vitamin B12 and be health with vegetarian diet.
