Animals should be treated with special care whether its your own pet or a street animal that doesn't have anyone to take care of. As animals could not express themselves with words, it needs to be treated good by humans. We may get chance to met animal abuse on our day to day life. At this situation, we need to react against the abuse and not to behave easy going. Everyone should be strictly against the animal abuse. Even they should be treated with love and care on this world.
Mother nature consists the animals and plants as that of humans. So, human is not created to ill-treat animals which is a part of this nature.
